A Brief History Of Panfan
It all started in the 1980's
Panfan was first designed and developed in the 80's with many raw prototypes such as the one in the photo to the left. Ever since our vented range has been used in new buildings and renovations around the world, including both residential and commercial.
1992 - Panfan hits the market
After several years of development and refining the first models hit the market
1999 - Panfan is granted a Branz Appraisal
Panfan is granted a Branz Appraisal, confirming the effectiveness of the product and that it
meets the New Zealand building code requirements.
2006 - Filtered Range Introduced
Continuing to build on the success of the vented range, Panfan releases the filtered range, enabling the Panfan to be fitted to existing builds without the need to run ducting through the walls and ceiling space.
2007 - Panfan wins
KBIS Award
The PFC model won the ‘Best New Bathroom Product’ award at KBIS which is the largest international trade show in the United States.
2023 - New Brushless Models Launch
Continuing to improve our product range Panfan launches its range of fans in a brushless variant.
